How this works
Each school publishes the SAT and ACT scores of the middle half of the students it admitted (fall 2024, College Scorecard, US Department of Education), and how many applicants it admits. Your score is placed against that range. Below a 20% acceptance rate a school is a reach for everyone, because most applicants with top scores are turned down too.
It is a guide, not a prediction. Grades, the courses you took, essays and recommendations count for more than scores at most schools, and no school publishes the high school grades of the students it admits in a way that can be compared, so they are not used here. Test policies are for students applying in 2026-27, read on each school's own page on 23 October 2026 (FairTest's list for the 21 schools whose pages could not be read). Tuition is for one year, before grants; the price after grants is the average for students who get federal aid.
