  • Admission d'une personne adulte. Adults can be admitted when their past school results, recent work record, or both suggest they will succeed. The admissions committee may limit how many courses an adult takes, or require specific courses, in the first year. Who: At least 19 years old by December 31 of the year of admission, and not in any school for at least one year, especially the year before starting university.
  • Admission à titre d'essai (trial admission). Ontario high school applicants whose average is just below the minimum can be admitted on a trial basis. To move to regular status they must pass courses chosen by the admissions committee. Business applicants missing the math requirement can also be admitted with a trial period. Who: Ontario high school applicants with an OSSD (Ontario Secondary School Diploma) whose Grade 12 4U/M (university or university/college level) average is slightly below 70%, but whose overall Grade 11 and 12 average is 70% or more.
