A typical day
Markets open early, so the morning starts with news and any client who panicked overnight. Then meetings: a couple retiring in four years, a widow sorting out an inheritance, a 29-year-old with a first bonus. Between them, building plans, rebalancing accounts, and a lot of paperwork that regulators require. Evenings often hold a client dinner or a seminar, because this is still a job where people hire the person, not the firm.
