Job Bank has no wildland page. Its Firefighter page gives a national median of $45.79 an hour, about $95,000 a year full time, but that figure is mostly full-time city firefighters. Alberta's alis career service puts certified wildland firefighters at about $21.83 to $26.87 an hour, and the season runs roughly April to October, so a first season lands closer to $35,000. The top of this range is a permanent, year-round wildfire job.
