The accreditor decides whether you can ever sit the exam

ACOTE (the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education) approves every program in the country, at associate and bachelor's level. Graduating from a program it has not approved leaves you unable to take the national certification exam, and so unable to get licensed anywhere.
