A typical day

Six to ten people, half an hour to an hour each. In a nursing home you help someone practice getting dressed, or standing from a chair, or using a fork after a stroke. In a school you work on handwriting and scissors with a child who cannot yet hold them. You set up the exercise, adjust it as they tire, encourage them through the part that hurts, and note what changed. Documentation fills the gaps between sessions, and it is required for the bill to be paid.
