A typical day
Start with a scan of what was published overnight about your client and their competitors. Morning is drafting: a statement, a press release, a set of talking points for an executive who has fifteen minutes. Midday you pitch reporters, which is mostly short emails that get ignored. Afternoon is a client call, an event plan and edits from three people who disagree. Then something breaks at 5:40pm and the evening changes.
