A typical day
Stand-up meeting at 10am: what you did, what you are doing, what is blocking you. Then a long block of coding, with a build running in the background. Fix a bug a tester filed, then sit with a designer to work out why the jump feels wrong and try four versions of it. Afternoon is review: reading other people's code, having yours picked apart. Playtest at the end of the week, where the whole team plays the build and writes down everything that annoyed them. Near a release date all of that compresses and the days get long.
