A typical day

In prep, it is calls and spreadsheets: crew deals, location permits, insurance, a budget that will not close, and a director who wants one more shooting day. During the shoot you are in the production office solving problems the set does not know about yet, and on set when something goes wrong. In post you are chasing delivery items nobody finds interesting, and in between projects you are reading scripts and asking people for money.
