A typical day

In a hospital you start with a list of new admissions flagged for nutrition risk. You calculate tube feeding for an ICU (intensive care unit) patient, counsel someone newly diagnosed with diabetes, adjust a kidney patient's diet with the medical team, and chart it all. Community dietitians run group workshops and one-on-one visits. Private practice is back-to-back video calls.
