• CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional)

  The senior credential. Needs 5 years of documented experience. Common in job ads for senior and contract roles.

• SQL (the language for pulling data out of databases)

  Analysts who can query the data themselves are trusted more and paid more.

• Agile and product owner training

  Most software teams run in short cycles. Certified Scrum Product Owner and similar courses are cheap and asked for.

• Industry depth
