A typical day

Appointments run 45 to 60 minutes. A new patient gets a long history: pain, sleep, digestion, stress, the tongue and pulse check that TCM (traditional Chinese medicine) uses. Then 20 to 30 minutes with needles in place while you set up the next room. Back pain, neck pain, headaches, fertility and stress are the common reasons people come. Between patients you change linens, chart, and answer booking messages. Evenings and Saturdays are the busy shifts. Slow days go to marketing and bookkeeping.
