A typical day

Start at the operations building around 7am with a safety briefing and the list of turbines to visit. Drive out, park at the base, harness up, climb the internal ladder with a fall arrest line, and come out in the nacelle at the top. Grease bearings, check bolt torque, change filters, read faults, replace a part. The tower sways a little in wind and you get used to it. Two technicians per turbine, two or three turbines a day, back down before dark.
