A typical day

Arrive before the clinic opens to treat and feed the inpatients. Place catheters, draw blood, run the lab samples, take radiographs. Induce and monitor anesthesia through the morning surgeries, which means you are watching the animal's breathing and heart the entire time. Afternoon appointments: restraining, vaccinating, taking histories, doing dental cleanings. Then cleaning, restocking, and calling owners with results.
