A typical day
Emails first: a client wants to move a flight, a supplier has changed a hotel, a deposit is due. Then a couple of hours building itineraries, which is research, pricing and writing. Calls with clients in the afternoon, mostly listening for what they actually want rather than what they said. Somewhere in the week you chase a commission payment that never arrived. When something goes wrong abroad, you are on the phone at odd hours until it is fixed.
