A typical day

Mostly a desk and two screens. Morning on design software drawing a road alignment or building a traffic model of an intersection. A site visit at 11 to see why a drainage plan does not match the ground. Afternoon on calculations, review comments from a senior engineer, and a coordination call with the city, the utility company and the contractor. Once a month it is an evening public meeting where residents tell you what they think of your roundabout.
