A typical day

Start at 6am by finding out what broke overnight: a breakdown in Ohio, a driver who ran out of legal hours, a shipper who is not loading. Rebuild the plan. Then eight hours of the phone, the board and the messaging system: assigning loads, checking arrival times, arguing with a warehouse, finding a repair shop. Around 3pm you start building tomorrow, and around 5pm something goes wrong and you rebuild it again.
