A typical week

Three or four days of clinic, seeing 20 to 30 patients a day. Most are ordinary people with a bad knee or a sore shoulder rather than elite athletes. You examine, scan, inject, and write rehabilitation plans, and you refer the ones who need surgery. One afternoon might be a training room session at a local high school or university. Friday night you are on the sideline of a football game in the rain, and Saturday morning you are back in clinic looking at the ankle from that game.
