A typical day

In before the first bell for a student who is refusing to go to class. Morning is schedule changes, because somebody always needs to drop a course. A meeting about a student who has missed 19 days. Lunch is not really lunch: it is the hour students drop in. Afternoon might be a college application workshop, a phone call to a parent that does not go well, and a crisis that takes the rest of the day and all of your plans with it. Then the paperwork you did not do, after everyone has gone home.
