A typical day

Morning assessment with a new patient: what did you do before, what do you miss, what are you afraid you have lost. Then a group session, maybe adaptive cooking or a gardening bed, where the actual goals are standing tolerance, sequencing and confidence. Afternoon a community outing so somebody can practice a store trip before discharge. In between, treatment notes and a team meeting with doctors, nurses and physical and occupational therapists. You are the one on the team asking what the person's life looks like after they leave.
