A typical day

Files in different stages, all with dates that cannot move. A title search comes back with an old lien nobody knew about and you have to clear it before Friday. A lease revision from the other side needs marking up. A client calls because the seller now wants to take the appliances. Then a closing: signatures, funds, keys, and a family who is relieved it is done. The pace is deadline driven rather than dramatic, and courtroom work is rare unless you do disputes.
