The median is $420,860 a year and the bottom tenth sit near $89,010. The survey title behind these numbers is radiologists, the doctors who read medical images, and radiation oncologists are not broken out on their own. Both are certified by the same board and paid at a similar level. The survey also only counts physicians who are employees, so doctors in private groups are missing from it entirely.
