A typical day

Start with the schedule and the list of things that slipped overnight. A stand-up or a site walk. Then the calls: a supplier who will be late, a team that needs a decision, a client asking for something outside the agreed scope. Update the risk log, rework the plan, and write the status report that leadership reads on Friday. Most of the day is chasing information and turning it into decisions, and the good project managers are the ones who find out about a problem two weeks before it lands.
