A typical day

Open the pharmacy and work the queue. Take in prescriptions, enter them, count and label, and hand them to the pharmacist for the final check. Answer the phone, run insurance claims and tell people why theirs was rejected. Manage the shelves, order stock, pull expired boxes. In a hospital it is different: filling ward carts, loading automated cabinets, and gowning up to mix sterile doses in a clean room. Busy, repetitive and constantly interrupted.
