A typical day
Email first, sorted into what you can answer yourself and what has to go up. Booking travel and rearranging a calendar three times because a meeting moved. Ordering supplies, chasing an invoice, letting in the plumber. Taking minutes and turning them into a page people will actually read. Onboarding a new hire: desk, laptop, badge, forms. Interruptions constantly, because you are the person everyone asks. The work stops when you leave the building.
