  Stroke. One extra year, urgent and hospital based, and the part of neurology where minutes genuinely matter.

  Seizure medicine, reading brain wave recordings, and deciding who should have surgery.

  Nerve and muscle disease, including amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. Heavy on nerve conduction testing.

  Running intensive care units for brain injury and bleeding. Intense, and paid accordingly.
