A typical day

Practice in the morning while the house is quiet. Teach three students in the afternoon. Drive an hour to a venue, load in at 6, sound check, play from 9 until midnight, load out, drive home, get to bed at 2. Tomorrow you record a part for someone else's track in your spare room and send them the files. Next week has one gig on it, which is why you are chasing two more.
