A typical day
Calls and messages from morning to evening: clients, real estate agents, underwriters chasing one more document. Take an application, pull credit, work out what somebody can actually afford, then shop the file to lenders and compare what comes back. The rest is chasing paperwork, pay stubs, bank statements, an explanation for a deposit from six weeks ago. Deals go sideways late, and you are the person who has to phone a family and say the closing has moved.
