A typical day in June

The shop opens at seven and there are already three boats on the hoist. First job is a no-start on an outboard: plug in the laptop, read the fault codes, find a corroded connector behind the cowling. Then a lower unit that took a rock, a bilge pump that is not switching, and a new engine to rig on a trailer boat. Somewhere in there you take a customer out for a sea trial to prove the vibration is gone. It is hot, you are half in an engine well, and everyone wants their boat for the weekend.
