A typical day

Start with the calendar: what is due today, this week, and in court next month. Then drafting and document work, pulling records, organizing exhibits, preparing a filing and getting it submitted before the electronic cut-off. Calls with clients chasing paperwork, calls with the court clerk about a scheduling problem. Trial weeks look nothing like this: long days, late nights, and you are the person who knows where every document is.
