A typical day

Mornings go to the drawing set: floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, finish schedules and details, and the coordination with the architect and the mechanical engineer whose ductwork is in the way of your ceiling. Midday there is a client presentation with boards and samples, and a conversation about why the budget does not cover what they saw online. Afternoons bring supplier calls on lead times, a product that has been discontinued, and a site visit where a contractor has installed something upside down. Deadline weeks before a presentation are long.
