A typical day
Mornings are the pipeline: calls to people who asked for a quote, calls to people who did not, and following up on the ones who went quiet. Then quoting, which means gathering details, running them through several carriers and comparing what is actually covered. Midday there is usually a client meeting, in person for a business account. Afternoons go to service work nobody sees: certificates of insurance, policy changes, a renewal that came back with a big rate increase you now have to explain, and a claim where the client wants you to fight their corner.
