A typical day

Most of it alone. Morning is email and admin: a quote for a new job, an invoice chasing payment, a brief to read. Then four or five hours of actual drawing, roughs for one job and finished art for another. Mid-afternoon, send roughs and wait for feedback that may change everything. Evening is either finishing a revision because the deadline is tomorrow, or your own work, which is what keeps the portfolio moving.
