A typical day

Half lab, half meeting room, some weeks half factory. You might spend the morning running shelf-life samples that have been sitting in a warm cabinet to simulate six months on a shelf, then sit with a marketing team who want the same product with less sugar and the same taste. Afternoon on a plant trial, standing beside a production line in a hairnet watching your formula behave differently at scale than it did in a beaker. Write it up, adjust, try again.
