A typical day

Early. Flowers arrive before the shop opens and have to be unpacked, cut, stripped and put into water the same morning or they are wasted. Then orders: a birthday bouquet, a hospital arrangement, three funeral pieces for an afternoon service. Answer the phone, take a wedding inquiry, clean the cooler, sweep endless stem trimmings. Deliveries in the afternoon. On a wedding weekend you start at 4am and you are on a ladder in a venue by noon.
