A typical day

Mostly at a desk with two screens. Morning is picking up yesterday's redlines: the engineer has marked up a print and you make every change and check it back. Then new work, laying out a floor plan or a road section from calculations and a sketch. A coordination meeting where you walk the team through the model. Afternoon is detailing, dimensioning and getting a drawing set ready to issue, which is slow, exacting work where one wrong number is expensive.
