A typical day

In before the first patient to set up rooms and check the schedule. Then patient after patient: seat them, take X-rays, hand the dentist instruments in the order they want them, run suction, mix materials, write the notes. Between each one you break down the room and sterilize everything. Lunch is an actual hour. The last patient is out by five, the instruments go in the autoclave, and you go home without a pager.
