A typical day

Stand-up call in the morning, then a mix of building and fixing: writing infrastructure code, reviewing a teammate's changes, wiring up monitoring, chasing why a service got slow at 3am. A chunk of every week goes to security patches and access requests. When something breaks badly you drop everything and run the incident, then write up what happened so it does not happen again.
