A typical day

Clinics usually run split shifts, roughly 8am to noon and 2pm to 6pm, because that is when working patients can come. Visits are short, often 10 to 15 minutes, so you may see 25 to 40 people in a day. Between them: notes, imaging review, insurance forms and phone calls. New patient exams take an hour. Evenings are for the parts of the business nobody sees.
