A typical day

Morning stand-up with the engineering team, 15 minutes. Then an hour interviewing the warehouse supervisor about why orders get stuck, taking notes. Midday you turn those notes into requirements: what the new system has to do, spelled out so nobody can argue about what was meant. Afternoon is a demo where you check the build matches the spec, then a spreadsheet pulling last quarter's numbers for a manager who wants a decision by Friday. Lots of meetings, lots of writing, very little code.
