A typical day

Less sketching than you imagine. Mornings go to the model and the drawing set: plans, sections, details, and the endless coordination with structural and mechanical engineers. Afternoons bring a client call, a city planning comment to answer, or a site visit where a contractor asks why a detail cannot be built the way you drew it. Deadline weeks are long. Once construction starts, you are on site answering questions and checking that what got built matches what you drew.
