A typical day

A morning stand-up with developers and a product manager. Then work in Figma: turning a rough idea into screens, connecting them into a clickable prototype. Midday, a usability session where you watch a real customer try the prototype and get stuck on something you thought was obvious. Afternoon: fix that, present to the team, argue politely about a button. Senior designers spend more time in research, strategy meetings and reviewing juniors' work than drawing screens.
