A typical day

Arrive early, check the group list and the weather, and count heads. Then two or three hours walking, talking and answering the same five questions. You adjust as you go: shorten a stop because it is raining, add one because the group is keen, keep an eye on the person falling behind. Between tours you eat standing up. At the end of the last tour you take photos, say goodbye, collect tips, and write down which stories landed.
