Lay out pipe routes from the drawings, hang steel pipe from the ceiling with hangers and brackets, cut and groove pipe, install sprinkler heads, then pressure-test the system and sign off with the inspector. Service technicians drive between buildings testing alarms, valves and fire pumps. High-rise condo work means lifts, dust and tight deadlines.
