A typical day

Toolbox talk at 7am, then read the plan for the day's build. Carry frames, tubes, clamps and planks to the spot, often up several floors. Build the scaffold piece by piece, level and plumb, tie it into the structure, add guardrails and planks. Tag it as safe. Later, strip a finished scaffold and sort the parts. On a shutdown you might be inside a plant in the cold, or on a boiler in 40-degree heat. Done by 3:30pm on a normal day, much later on a turnaround.
