A typical day

Open the centre and walk the building. Check that the guards showed up and the ice was flooded. Spend the morning on next season's program guide: what to offer, what to charge, who will teach it. Afternoon is hiring and scheduling summer staff, a budget meeting, and a complaint from a parent about a cancelled class. Evening once or twice a week is a council presentation or a community event you are running yourself.
