A typical day
At a bank, you start by checking overnight moves and whether your pricing models still fit the market. Traders call with questions about a strange price. Midday goes to testing a model change on years of data and writing up what changed. At a pension fund the pace is slower: longer research on how to invest billions over decades. Most ideas you test do not work, and that is normal.
