A typical day

Morning: two or three office appointments, checking in on conditions, jobs, treatment and housing. Late morning: write a pre-sentence report due to court next week. Afternoon: a home visit or a call to a treatment program, then a breach report for someone who stopped showing up. Somewhere in there, court, where you may testify. Caseloads run to dozens of people at once.
