A typical shift

Clock in for a 12-hour shift. Read the job ticket, mount plates, load the right paper or film, mix and load inks. Run test sheets and adjust registration and colour until the proof matches. Then run the job, pulling sheets to check quality every few minutes. Wash up, change over, start the next job. Noise, solvent smell and standing all day.
