A typical day

Morning reviewing a substation design: single line drawings, breaker ratings, protection settings. Mid morning on a call with a developer connecting a solar farm and asking why the study takes months. Afternoon running load flow and short circuit cases to check the system stays stable if a line drops. Once in a while you drive out to a substation, sign in, and see the steel and copper behind the drawings.
